Eungella N.P. - Finch Hatton Gorge

About 100kms from Mackay is a place called Eungella and the Finch Hatton Gorge. It's a really pretty area.
Simon went for a swim at the falls - it was....... refreshing.

Hay Point - Sarina

Hay Point is where the coal from the Mackay area is shipped out from. It doesn't look it but the jetty is 3.85km long.

When we first got to Mackay there were 60 ships waiting to load. They couldn't move because it was too windy - anything over 40 knots and they just have to sit and wait. The boats are one of my favourite things - they're absolutely massive!

Week 5 - Camping at Collaroy

Went camping on a property (66000 acres) 2 hours south of Mackay on the May Day long weekend.
